Private Registration

Usually the information that you enter when registering your domain name is instantly available to everyone on the Internet. When you register a domain name, ICANN requires that your address, e-mail and phone number be published in the public WHOIS database which is available for anybody to view on the Web.

Private Registration with Spectrum21 replaces your private information with generic information. The service provides a filtering mechanism for all email, telephone and postal mail. Only those emails, calls and postal mail messages that are not spam will be forwarded to you.

Registrar Transfers

Save money and gain control of your domain name by transferring to Spectrum21. When the registrar of your domain name is transferred, you can renew your domain name for just $10.00 per year ($12 per year for .co.uk).

Domain Name DNS

We now offer free domain name DNS for all domain names registered through us. Our Virtual Private Servers allow you to host multiple domain names, each with the ability to point to a unique Web site, on a single account. This ability, often referred to as Virtual Subhosting, is one of the most powerful features of our Virtual Private Servers. Our Order Wizard allows you to modify our name servers to point to the IP address of the Virtual Private Server account that you specify.

Virtual Name Servers

Spectrum21 Customers, can own their own Virtual Name Server (e.g. ns1.your-nameserver.net and ns2.your-nameserver.net). A Virtual Name Server is an alias that refers to our primary and secondary Name Servers. Once your Virtual Name Server is setup, you can register domain names using your own Virtual Name Server information - ensuring your customers see your company's information.
